I am trying to follow what's going on in Ukraine but I can't seem to find a good map. for instance right now I can't find Bahkmut. It seems to be part of the Lysychansk/Severondonesk urban conglomerate but I haven't got a map that shows it well.
googling around I did find a page that showed a good map and they seem to have used an 'openstreetmap' but I can't find that on my sasplanet installation.
That's here: https://www.mindat.org/loc-285290.html
Is there a good map in the default collection?
Or I suppose there'd be a way to point the prog to other publicly available maps somehow perhaps?
And while I'm here can I ask about the messages I get every time I start the prog these days?
They say that my map filenames are the same as some google map filenames on my machine I think it what they're saying.
I just say alright and continue.
I think it is perhaps because I tried to import a bunch of english named maps and renamed folders and god knows what.
It didn't work. My maps are still wholly cyrillic.
But it seems to have done something.
Is there an easy fix for that or shall I just continue and not worry about it?
p.s. Well I found Bahkmut. On simple old "Map Google" - is that the same as 'Google Maps' ? That seems the best to me right now. If anyone has any better suggestions I would like to know.
And any information on bringing other maps into the prog.
