Resolution Now Worse Than Google Earth 960

I am using 230909 and have set map version to 960 but I can't get anything like the resolution on screen even that I get with google earth.

anything can be done about this? is it some mistake I have made?

I believe that the raw data is the same, and the difference is due to image processing done by Google using AI. If you look at the Google Earth image, the shape of the trees along the side of the road looks different and somewhat artificial.

I think you are right. So that's a little disappointing on the one hand: we won't get that; but impressive on the other hand - what a clever piece of work. And I assume there must be some way to intercept that final image on its way to the screen and one day we might be able to download it... Or perhaps even the AI processing will become a standard option...
